FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Trinity Metro says Tex-Rail passengers have been eager for more trains, and the agency will help them out.

The commuter line from downtown Fort Worth to DFW Airport started in January, and Trinity Metro it was always planning to expand service.

It'll now run 73 trips a day instead of just 48. Trains will run every 30 minutes during peak hours.

Tex-Rail will also start earlier in the day and continue later into the night.

The schedule change starts Sunday, and Trinity Metro is telling people to check the schedule because their train may start arriving at a different time.
