IRVING (1080 KRLD) - Two Irving Police motorcycle officers have minor injuries after being struck by a car Tuesday morning.
Irving Police say the accident happened shortly after 10:30 a.m. on the George Bush Turnpike just before Highway 183.
Officer James McLellan says one officer had someone pulled over when he was hit by a sedan. McLellan says both officers were walking around immediately after the crash.
Poliec reports say the driver of the sedan initially stopped and got out of the car, but he got right back in and took off.
McLellan says investigators are working with the NTTA to pull video of that black sedan and hopefully the driver.
