DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Two companies based in Texas have made the list of "America's Best Large Employers" complied by Forbes Magazine. The magazine hired a company to survey workers at firms with more than 5,000 employees about their pay, working conditions and whether they would recommend their employer to a friend or family member.
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines came in at 2nd place overall. It also made the Forbes list of "World's Best Employers" in 2018.
Houston's MD Anderson Cancer Center ranked 17th for large employers this year. The Trader Joe's grocery store chain came in first place in the nation-wide rankings.
