DALLAS (KRLD) - If the Presidential election were held today, a slight majority of Texans would vote for someone else.
According to the latest UT-Texas Tribune Poll, 39 percent of Texans would definitely vote to re-elect President Trump but 45 percent say they would definitely vote for someone else.
President Trump continues to have strong support among Texas Republicans, as 88 percent say they would vote to re-elect him today.
Democratic voters feel differently, 93 percent say they would vote for anyone else but Trump.
So what about independents? According to the poll, 24 percent say they would definitely vote for the President but 42 percent say they would vote against him.
