Mild, cold, mild, cold...typical north Texas late January weather!
Comfy temperatures today and tomorrow before the bottom briefly drops out by Saturday. Arctic cold front arrives pre-dawn hours on Saturday.
Rain will be brief and should be east of DFW before dawn. There is a very slight chance for a few flurries across north Texas, but chances are greater along the red River into Oklahoma. North winds gusting to 35 mph combined with temps in the 30s by late afternoon will make for a miserably cold Saturday evening.
Widespread 20s will be felt early Sunday morning, with wind chills in the teens. Abundant sunshine during the day will warm temperatures into the low to mid 40s.
If you plan on watching the lunar eclipse Sunday evening, skies will be clear, but temperatures will be cold...Bundle up!
A brief warm up Monday, before another front arrive Tuesday cooling temps to below seasonal norms through the end of the week. As of now, I'm not looking for any precip through the period, but this is subject to change.
