Concerned neighbors in Dallas' Preston Hollow community are planning more meetings over a proposed development.
They had a community meeting a few days ago showing the height of a number of proposed buildings near Preston Road and Royal Lane that neighbors have never had to deal with.
Doug Hazelbaker is on the Preserve Preston Hollow steering committee and he thinks if this actually goes through, other neighborhoods could be affected.
"This could really start moving here very, very quickly on other sites across the whole city," Hazelbaker said.
They argue they want to see development, just not above the existing 54-foot limit.
They are planning another community meeting next week, this time with their Dallas City Council representative.
The proposed development southwest of Preston and Royal includes several buildings ranging from 21 to 25 stories tall which far exceeds the existing 54-foot limit.
