DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The votes are in and Big Tex officially has a new pair of boots!
The State Fair got more than 250 entries for this year's Big Tex Boot Design contest this year.
Those entries were whittled down to 10 finalists. thousands of fair fans voted and the winning boots were designed by a Keller woman.
Katie Sauceda's design features bluebonnet, an oil rig, the Alamo, the Texas flag and more Texas icons.
Big Tex will be wearing his new boots when the fair starts up September 27th.
