Zest Fest

It's time to spice things up again in Irving. The annual Zest Fest starts on Friday and runs through Sunday. It's a celebration of spicy foods that includes celebrity chefs, a jalapeno-eating contest and the "fiery food challenge".

Dwight Yoakum

If you like guitars, Cadillacs...and hillbilly music - you'll want to be at the Bomb Factory in Dallas Friday night. Country star Dwight Yoakum performs at the Deep Ellum venue. He'll be playing hits from more than 30 years in country music.

Bernadette Peters and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra

Broadway superstar Bernadette Peters visits Dallas for a three-night stand with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. She's won a Golden Globe and a Tony Award...and is known for her show-stopping performances of Broadway classics...including songs by Stephen Sondheim.

KidFilm Family Festival

The Angelika Theater in Dallas turns things over to the kids this weekend. They're holding the 36th Annual Kid Film Family Festival with the U-S A Film Festival. Several popular children's book authors will be on-hand, and the Angelika will be screening several live-action and animated films made just for kids. Tickets are available one hour before each show,  and they're free! There will even be a special appearance by Sonic the Hedgehog on Sunday.

Michelle Wolf -2020 Tour

She's one of the most popular comics working right now.   She came to fame when she hosted the White House Correspondent's Dinner.  She has a couple of Netflix specials and her own HBO comedy special in 2017.   Michelle Wolf appears at the Addison Improv all weekend.

The 2020 Texas Rangers Comerica Peek at the Park at Texas Live!

The Texas Rangers start playing at the new Globe Life Field in March.  You can get a sneak preview of what the new park looks like on Saturday.   Go to Texas Live on Saturday, they're setting up a viewing area on the outfield's main concourse.  You'll be able to see everything inside. They'll have Rangers players and coaches signing autographs.

Shen Yun

The Winspear Opera House transforms into the world of ancient China this weekend when the artists, dancers, and acrobats from Shen Yun make their annual visit to North Texas.  You can see their lost culture on stage with a live orchestra and beautiful costumes.  Two shows Saturday and two shows Sunday.

Schoolhouse Rock Live!
