Just because you can't get to the gym doesn't mean you can't work out.

Toni McMurtre, a personal trainer at Strouds Gym in Hurst , says staying fit doesn't require any equiptment.

For a good at home work out she recommends starting with " the mother of all exercises, the push up...you can do an incline, with your hand on your couch and your feet on the floor, you can do a decline, have your hands on the floor and the feet on the couch".

She says sit ups, crunches and squats will also help keep you strong and yoga is wonderful for overall strength and flexibility.

And don't forget the kids, she says just playing games helps  keep them fit and occuppied.  She recommends crab-crawl races, or use ballons for baseball  and  volleyball games indoors.

And when you can get outside, go for a walk or a bike ride but keep social distancing rules in mind.
