A local McKinney resident is looking for a new house and planning to retire after winning the 17-million-dollar jackpot from Texas Lotto.
The winner has decided to remain anonymous but reported to hit the jackpot on Aug. 16. The winner took the cash option and has walked away with a check totaling nearly 10 million bucks before taxes.

The winning ticket was sold at a 7-11 on Campbell Road in Dallas. The winner admits to being overwhelmed and nervous about scoring all that money but called his girlfriend right away to share the news.
