Nearly three decades after her death, Selena fans could soon get a newly released album from the vault.
In a recent interview, her father, Abraham Quintanilla told Latin Groove News that the new set of 13 songs is expected to be released by Warner Music.

Quintanilla said that Selena's brother worked on some of the recordings, resulting in her sounding like she did shortly before her death. For example, he said that the first song, a ballad, was recorded when Selena was 13-years-old, "but if you listen to it now, the same song with different arrangements, the voice sounds like right before she passed away."
The album will be called The "Queen of Cumbia."
An official release date has not been set.
