Another member of the Texas Rangers' 2023 World Series-winning team is moving on.
The Oakland Athletics announced Friday afternoon that they had struck a one-year, $10 million deal with former Rangers' reliever Jose Leclerc.
Leclerc, 31, became a free agent this winter after spending the first eight years of his career with Texas. In 350 appearances, Leclerc posted 41 saves with a 3.27 ERA.
Leclerc played a vital role on the Rangers' 2023 championship team, picking up four saves with a 3.29 ERA in 13 games.
