Cowboys to open vs. Browns during Tom Brady's NFL on FOX debut

The NFL schedule drops Wednesday evening, but we know who the Dallas Cowboys will kick the 2024 NFL season off against.

The Browns will host the Dallas Cowboys September 8 at 4:25.

The game will be broadcast on FOX and will also be Tom Brady’s regular season game analyst debut for the network.

Both teams are coming off playoff appearances last season. Dallas went 12-5 during the 2023 season while the Browns finished 11-6.

The game will feature the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, against Cowboys big arm quarterback Dak Prescott.

The last time the two teams played saw the Browns beat the Cowboys 49-38 in Dallas during the 2020 season. This marks the first visit to the shores of Lake Erie for the Cowboys since a 35-10 win for Dallas in 2016.

Cleveland leads the overall series, which dates back to 1960, between the two franchises 18-14.

The full schedule will be released Wednesday night at 7 p.m. CT.
