Cowboys agree to 1-year deal with LB Jack Sanborn

The Dallas Cowboys continued their bargain bin shopping as NFL free agency officially opened at 3 p.m. CT on Wednesday.

According to ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler, Dallas agreed to a one-year deal with former Chicago Bears linebacker Jack Sanborn.

Sanborn, 24, reunites with new Cowboys defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, who joined Brian Schottenheimer's staff in January.

Sanborn joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin in 2022. In three seasons with Chicago, Sanborn totaled 164 tackles, four and a half sacks, two tackles for loss, one interception, and one fumble recovery.
