DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys were missing two key members at Thursday's portion of practice that was open to the media.
Running back Tony Pollard was absent because of "personal reasons," Todd Archer of ESPN reported after practice. The good news for the Cowboys is that Pollard isn't injured and his status for Sunday's game against the Panthers isn't in question.
Defensive end Randy Gregory was the other notable player who didn't participate in practice Thursday.
Archer reported that Gregory was present and in uniform, but he didn't participate because of a knee issue.
"He was on the field at the start of practice, in uniform, which could be a sign that he was just getting some rest."

The Cowboys have been decimated by injuries this season and can not afford to have any other players go down.
Defensive linemen Neville Gallimore (dislocated elbow), DeMarcus Lawrence (broken foot), Bradlee Anae (COVID) and Gregory (COVID), plus cornerback Kelvin Joseph (groin), safety Donovan Wilson (groin) and linebacker Keanu Neal (COVID) have all missed time.
