The original story follows:

According to Plano police, Williams was driving a black corvette near SH-121 and Preston Road when he was t-boned by another vehicle that failed to yield to oncoming traffic when they were making a turn. Neither Williams nor the other driver has serious injuries.

Plano PD is investigating whether the rate of speed at which Williams was traveling was a factor in the crash. Police determined that neither drugs nor alcohol was a factor.

It's unknown if the accident will affect Williams' ability to play on Christmas Eve against the Philadelphia Eagles, but the team is aware that the 23 year old was involved in a collision, Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News reports.

The Cowboys selected Williams out of Ole Miss in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has 13 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble in ten games played this season.

This is a developing news story.
