ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - It appears that the Cowboys dodged a major injury to one of the key members of their secondary.
Cowboys safety Jayron Kearse was able to start Sunday's game against the Texans after he suffered a leg injury in pregame warmups and needed assistance from the Cowboys' training staff to walk to the locker room.
According to 105.3 The Fan's sideline reporter Kristi Scales, Kearse landed awkwardly when he attempted to make a leaping catch in secondary drills about 45 minutes before kickoff between the Cowboys and Texans.
