DALLAS (105.3 the Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys added another rotational contributor to the defensive line on Thursday night, signing former New York Jets edge rusher Tarell Basham to a two-year deal.

The deal, which will earn Basham up to $6.5 million, was reported by his agent, Aaron Henderson.

In three seasons with the Jets, Basham played in 42 games, starting 12 of those games, and coming away with 69 tackles, 5.5 sacks and seven pass deflections.

In two previous seasons with Indianapolis, who selected him with the 80th overall pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Basham had seven total tackles and two sacks.

Basham was the third defensive lineman to sign with the Cowboys on Thursday, joining Carlos Watkins and Brent Urban along the front.
