DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - It appears that the Cowboy defense will be getting some reinforcements when they take on the 49ers this week.
Coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that Trevone Diggs (foot), Anthony Brown (ribs), Donovan Wilson (groin) and Chidobe Awuzie (COVID-19) are all expected to be limited participants in practice today.
The Cowboys played without all four players in the secondary in last week's win over Cincinnati.
Diggs has missed the team's last four games after he was placed on injured reserve with a fractured foot. The Cowboys rookie was given a 4-6 week recovery timeline.
The 2020 second-round pick out of Alabama had been one of Dallas' best players on defense this season. He had 48 tackles, 10 pass deflections, and two interceptions in nine games.
