With a third quarter completion to Emmanuel Sanders, Saints quarterback Drew Brees became the first player in NFL history to throw for 80,000 yards.

Brees was already the NFL’s All-time leader in passing yards headed into Sunday’s game. And is No. 2 on the career passing touchdowns list.

Brees needed 154 yards to reach the milestone and reached it with a 26-yard completion to Sanders.
