The Yankees' Aaron Judge did not hit a home run against the Rangers Monday night in Arlington, so he remains tied with Roger Maris for the American League single-season home run record of 61.

There are three more Rangers-Yankees games in this series including Tuesday's double-header.

Monday night's ceremonial first pitch was thrown out by Medal of Honor recipient Jim McCloughan, a Vietnam veteran who earned the Medal for his actions as a combat medic in 1969 when he volunteered to hold a blinking light in an exposed position to mark a location for a night helicopter resupply drop, remaining steady in the face of enemy fire. Also, during a night battle, he kept two critically wounded soldiers alive before organizing the dead and wounded for daylight evacuation.
