DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks are set to be down multiple players, after reports confirmed that a positive coronavirus test surfaced within the team on Friday.

The Athletic's Shams Charania was first to report.

Later on Friday evening, the players in question were revealed by the team injury report to be wings Josh Richardson and Dorian Finney-Smith, as well as guard Jalen Brunson.

All three players were listed as out due to NBA "Healthy and Safety Protocols", though it was not revealed which of the three players tested positive.

Outside of that player who did test positive, the other two players will go through contact tracing and are expected to quarantine for seven days.

Those two players have tested negative, and all signs point to that remaining the case going forward.

Dallas, who defeated the Denver Nuggets in Overtime on Thursday night, flew back to the DFW area on Friday morning, and is set to host the Orlando Magic at the American Airlines Center on Saturday evening.
