DALLAS (105.3 the Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks have acquired wing Josh Richardson and the number 36 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for guard Seth Curry.

The report comes from the Athletic's Shams Charania.

Curry, who is the son-in-law of new 76ers head coach Doc Rivers, heads to a Philadelphia team that needed some shooting depth, and also added Danny Green earlier in the day.

With the pick they acquired from the 76ers, the Mavericks opted to go for Colorado forward Tyler Bey, who stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 210 pounds.

Known as a defense first prospect with high-level athleticism, Bey boasts a 7-foot-1 wingspan, and is thought to be a switchable small-ball power power forward who can guard multiple positions.

Still a raw prospect, the 22-year old averaged 13.8 points, nine rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.5 steals per game, while hitting 53-percent from the floor during his junior season.
