Dallas Stars CEO Brad Alberts joined Gavin Spittle on the latest episode of "Spits and Suds" to discuss the logistical hurdles of the NHL postseason schedule and the franchise's growth.
Alberts noted that even team executives are kept in the dark regarding playoff schedules until official league announcements. He has frequently challenged league schedulers over late puck drops for Stars games, though he said the NHL has acknowledged the issue without offering a permanent solution.
Since Alberts took over in 2011, the team has seen a significant turnaround in performance. Reflecting on the franchise's recent success, Alberts said he does not take the current winning era for granted. He also discussed how season ticket prices are determined, the status of renovations at the American Airlines Center, the Stadium Series this year, his love for the eye emoji, and the Texas Stars.
