It hasn't been easy to be a Rangers fan the last few years.

Sometimes alcohol helps. But, apparently, the team's struggles haven't forced fans into drinking more.

According to a recent survey done by NJ Online Gambling, which canvassed more than 2,500 MLB fans over the age of 21, Rangers fans average 2.9 drinks per game -- tied for 21st in baseball. Their 'average spend' is $22, the least in the league.

White Sox fans lead the way, with 4.2 drinks per game. Mets fans spend the most, sinking an average of $53 a game into booze.
