LEWISVILLE (1080 KRLD)- It was a big mess on I-35 in Lewisville, Thursday morning.

Just before 3 a.m a big rig crashed causing a HazMat mess with diesel spill all over the south-bound side near Business 121.
It's not clear if the driver was hurt. The wreckage forced police to close the south-bound lanes for hours until the clean-up was completed.
Traffic was diverted off at Business 121 and onto the service road to navigate around the scene and return to the freeway.
