The Amazon Delivery Center in Balch Springs will be shut down today because of wind damage to the building.
The massive building is near I-635 and Lake June. Part of the roof collapsed and a huge awning was also torn down by the strong winds that blew across North Texas Thursday nigyht.
The storm cell that did the damage was part of a strong cluster that hit the southern part of Dallas County bringing horizontal rains for more than 20-minutes.
Brad Harris of Balch Springs Emergency Management says nobody in the Amazon facility was hurt.
