The Dallas Cowboys and team head coach Mike McCarthy have both been fined by the NFL for violations of the Collective Bargaining Agreement's rules controlling off-season workouts.

ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported that the team was fined $100,000 and McCarthy's fine is $50,000.

The Star-Telegram obtained a copy of a letter sent from the NFL to the Cowboys saying a May 27th video shows there was too much body contact during drills.

The Cowboys also must forfeit one of their off-season workouts next year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers have also been fined and will also be docked off-season workouts in 2022.
