There are many great attractions throughout the city of Fort Worth, but sadly Cowtown is rarely seen as one of the world’s great travel destinations. Luckily, that may soon change as the city was recently included on a list of must visit cities. The list, by Travel + Leisure, included 11 cities travelers should visit in January 2023.
Fort Worth is quite busy this month with a number of events occurring, and this year it may be more than just the locals that get to enjoy it. Travel + Leisure recently unveiled their list of 11 best places to travel around the world this month, and Fort Worth was included.
According to Dallas Culture Map, some of the reasons the report included Fort Worth are the Fort Worth Stockyards, the Cowtown Coliseum, Flea Style, Tannahill’s Tavern Music Venue, Rodeo Rink and The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
The other cities included on the list were Park City, Utah; The Bahamas, Las Vegas, Nevada; Charleston, South Carolina; Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; Jamaica, Mazatlán, Mexico; Queensland, Australia, Costa Rica and Vienna, Austria. Thanks to this list, Fort Worth is finally getting the recognition it deserves.
