A day at the ballpark is usually always accompanied by a smorgasbord of incredible foods and at Globe Life Field, there is no limitation to the kind of snacks that you can stuff your gullet.

From Hurtado BBQ to now even Whataburger, Globe Life Field is one of the best ballparks in the nation for stadium grub.  At least, that’s what we thought.

A recent study from OntarioBets.com ranks Globe Life Field in the BOTTOM ten MLB ballparks for concessions!  Globe Life Field ranked No. 24 on the list, nestled (also surprisingly) between Angel Stadium in Los Angeles at No. 23 and Yankee Stadium in New York at No. 25.

According to NBC DFW, the list was created based on four different metrics: beer price, hot dog price, water price, and an "overall appetite score."  Despite Globe Life Field offering “a decent variety of food options,” it lost points for its higher prices for beer, hot dogs, and water.

Globe Life Field received an Index Score of 4.98, whereas the top MLB ballpark for concessions, T-Mobile Park in Seattle, home of the Mariners, received a 8.74.

OntatioBets.com said that visitors to T-Mobile Park “can indulge in a delicious hotdog for just $4.00 or grab a beer for as low as $0.33 per ounce. For those looking for vegan or plant-based options, Pure Acai offers mouth-watering Acai Bowls.

“With a wide range of options available for everyone, it's easy to see why T-Mobile Park is considered the best in concessions.”
