Irving-based Exxon Mobil CEO Darren Woods is warning the company that layoffs are coming.
In a company-wide message, Woods says "these are difficult times. We are making tough decisions, some of which will result in friends and colleagues leaving the company."
Woods does not specify how many job cuts are coming.
Exxon's stock price has lost more than half its value this year.
