Love Field, the Dallas city-owned airport, is offering some home-town backing for the Mavericks who opened their season last night.
The airport has added artwork showing lots of team spirit. For example, there's an elevator where the doors are painted floor-to-ceiling with a picture showing Mavs super-star Luke Doncic hanging from the rim after apparently making a slam dunk.
There are also pillars painted with pictures of Mavs players, a parking garage banner saying "Welcome Back To The City Of Mavericks" and Mavericks decals on the luggage carousels.
The encouragement didn't do much for the Mavs chances last night, though. Dallas was blown out by the the Hawks, 113-to-87 in Atlanta.
