Almost twenty percent of homeowners with Federal Housing Administration mortgages have fallen behind in their payments, and two of the top five cities with delinquent mortgates are in Texas.
Houston has the second most delinquent FHA loans in Texas, and Dallas has the fifth, according to reports.
Real estate lawyer Rachael Khirallah says lenders are still considering modifications.
