Have you ever wondered what it’s like to sleep on a big pile of luxury?
That appears to be the goal of Hästens, a new store headquartered in Sweden that just opened shopped in Dallas.
Bradley Belen co-owns the store, alongside Hästens’ U.S. distributor, MadaLuxe Group, and he has a very simple question: “People spend $50,000 for a car, why not for a bed — where you spend a third of your life?”
Hästens offers beds that begin at $25,000, all the way to the $670,000 Grand Vividus which weighs 1,600 pounds and has an engraved plaque made by the same people who make Olympics gold medals!
According to a Dallas area newspaper, Hästens has 14 beds available for purchase, as well as headboards, pillows, duvets, and “personal sleep accessories” including bathrobes.
Belen, who calls his personal Maranga Queen mattress that costs $20,000 “an investment,” says these are “forever” beds that come with a 25-year warranty, where only the top layer ever needing to be replaced.
That’ll cost you about $7,000.
