Every year, car companies release a design for a concept car that gets enthusiasts excited about the future of the automobile industry. While most of these outrageous designs never actually make it to the road, they get people excited for how upcoming cars may be influenced However, Nissan’s latest concept car design has many thankful for the cars we have now.

Nissan unveiled a concept for a sports car recently that is designed to be driven while lying down, head first. The design was initially submitted as a thesis by Jaebum Choi, who is an intern for Nissan. The futuristic car is operated through a "brain-to-vehicle" interface that is connected to a special suit worn by the driver that also protects against collisions.

One of the main aspects preventing this design from being made, at this time, is that it runs on a "plazma energy core" that connects to the driver’s suit like a tail. Many were stunned by this design, though most said they were happy to drive while seated. Hopefully flying cars come before this hits the road.
