During the hullaballoo over Texas and Oklahoma leaving the Big 12 for the SEC it looks like Southeast Conference member Missouri was trying to lure Athletic Director Jeremiah Donati away from Big 12 member, TCU.
The Star-Telegram cites a source who says Mizzou reached out to Donati about its AD opening but Donati declined to even go for an interview.
Donati's TCU contract runs through 2023 and the source says Donati is happy as he helps TCU contend with the uncertainties ahead as many expect the Big 12 will fold after losing its two big powers in Austin and Norman.
