Dallas Cowboys players are still getting their heads around Dak Prescott's broken thumb which could keep him off the field until November.
Appearing Monday night on KRLD's Miller Lite Cowboys Hour, Defensive End Damarcus Lawrence says the rest of the locker room must pick up the slack and, even though they lost some "key guys" in Sunday night's game, it's about persevering through adversity.
Tank points out he has some personal knowledge of injury because of the broken foot that caused him to miss significant playing time last year.
He says he learned a lot about being a team leader in the weeks he was out and believes he's a better player because of it. He goes on to say that every man in that locker room prepared fully during training camp and they will recover from Sunday's night's loss to the Buccaneers.
