Frisco has been one of the fastest-growing suburbs in North Texas over the past decade. Now, it’s about to get a national spotlight.
“Frisco King” is the latest project from creator Taylor Sheridan, according to Variety, which reported the new series is a spinoff of the hit series Tulsa King.
The original show stars Sylvester Stallone. The Frisco-based spinoff will instead feature Samuel L. Jackson in the lead role, Variety reported.
Production is expected to begin next month. It’s not yet clear whether filming will take place in Frisco or elsewhere.
And KRLD sources say to keep your eyes to the West of the Metroplex, as Sheridan has more big plans for another Texas town.
