The Best Things to Eat at Dodger Stadium Right Now

In the past few years, stadium food has become yet another theater of war for baseball teams to compete for fan allegiance. Gone are the days when peanuts and Cracker Jacks were enough to satisfy voracious game attendees. In this new era of upgraded snacks, Dodger Stadium has held its own with new takes on the Dodger Dog and items celebrating the town’s Mexican community, along with a few Instagrammable options. If you’re looking to chow down on something delicious at Dodger Stadium, seek out any of these options.

Dodger Dog

Where to find it: Anywhere; walk about 10 feet and you’ll inevitably run into a stand selling dogs
If you attend a Dodger game and don’t eat a Dodger Dog, did you really even go? The alliterative edible is a rite a passage for any young Dodger fan or transplant from some lesser sports team. Truly gluttonous fans—err, truly devoted fans should find a seat in the All You Can Eat Pavilion in right field to enjoy unlimited dogs (along with popcorn, peanuts, etc) for around $20 extra per ticket.

SCENARIO: You are going to your first #noFEE MLB playoff game & you are given the option for free food for the entire...

Tacos

Where to find it: LA Taqueria (Right Field Plaza, Reserve section 17)
Only in Los Angeles would there be a public outcry when a stadium removed tacos from the menu. The Dodgers briefly nixed the classic L.A. food from the stadium in 2018, but after a vocal reaction, the beef and chicken tacos are back. While four tacos will run you a ridiculous $18 and they can’t quite compete in the pantheon of Los Angeles street fare, they’re a decidedly appropriate ballpark snack in the City of Angels.

Dodger Burger

Where to find it: Bud & Burgers (Field section 47, Reserve section 31)
The only way to improve an all-American burger is to layer chopped up bits of Dodger Dog on top. At least that’s the reasoning at Bud & Burgers, where caramelized onions, jalapeño poppers and barbecue sauce join hot dog slices in a bountiful party of a burger. Just don’t be surprised if you get the meat sweats while attempting the seventh inning stretch.

Esquites

Where to find it: Elysian Park Grill (Field sections 22 and 23, Top Deck 6)
It’s hard to beat grilled corn with cotija, mayo and spicy aioli. A touch tidier to eat than the Cheetos-dusted elote that made the rounds last year, the esquites provide a hit of tangy, spicy, creamy, Mexican flavor all served from a mini dodger helmet.

Nacho Helmet

Where to find it: LA Taqueria (Right Field Plaza, Reserve section 17) and LA Taqueria Express (Loge section 163)
Another hit from the LA Taqueria stand, this massive helmet full of nachos dwarfs the mini helmets of esquites and ice cream found elsewhere. It’s best to share this gut bomb of chips topped with carne asada, refried beans, cheese, pico de gallo, jalapeños and sour cream.

Chicken and Waffle Sandwich

Where to find it: Chicken N' Tots (Field section 8) and Chicken N' Waffles (Reserve section 12)
Originally introduced for a series against the Braves in 2017, the Chicken & Waffle Sammy earned its place among the permanent food line-up. Really, who can argue with spicy fried chicken, candied bacon and maple syrup layered between two Belgian waffles dusted with sugar?

Al Pastor Dodger Sausage

Where to find it: Field sections 22 and 23, Loge sections 140 and 141, Reserve sections 6 and 7
While a number of Dodger Dog variations compete for space in fans’ bellies, the newest member of the team is the al pastor-themed Dodger Sausage made by local sausage maker Maestro Sausage. Pineapple chunks, pineapple salsa and lime-cilantro crema cover the sausage, making for a unique taste of L.A.
