Funeral services have now been set for Nicco Cole, a former Southlake Carroll High School baseball pitcher who helped lead the Dragons to back-to-back appearances in the state tournament in Round Rock in 2017 and 2018.
In his senior season, when Carroll won the state Class 6A title, his record was 13-and-0 with an ERA of 0.73.
Friday, Cole was found dead at his Colleyville home just five weeks before his 21st birthday.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not determined a cause of death.
Cole's former Carroll coach Larry Vucan says the funeral service will be next week, on July 6th, at White's Chapel United Methodist Church.
