One person is dead and another injured following a crash on Interstate 35 in Fort Worth on Tuesday morning.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officers were dispatched to Interstate 25 and State Highway 21 in response to a major crash just before 1 a.m.
Police say that a vehicle lost control, crashed into a concrete barrier, and went over the overpass.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
All lanes of traffic on northbound and eastbound I-35 at SH121 were shut down for several hours, but reopened shortly before 5 a.m.
