A stretch of I-20 in Mesquite was closed for hours after a fiery big rig crash near Lawson Road.
Report say just past 10:00 p.m. Wednesday the semi-truck crashed and exploded in flames on the west-bound side of Interstate 20 causing police to close down all the west-bound lanes for several hours.
Mesquite firefighters with an assist from Dallas County Fire Rescue worked overnight to douse the flames which took about an hour.
But the clean-up and investigation is taking much longer and the west-bound lanes are still closed as of 5 a.m. except for some vehicles squeezing by on one shoulder.
