Two suspects in a deadly road rage shooting in Haltom City have been arrested. Police had been looking for the suspects since the incident on Sept. 15.

Raul Gonzalez, Jr., 16, was in a car driven by his older brother when someone fired shots into their vehicle on Belknap Street, police said. Gonzalez was hit, taken to a hospital, and died from his injuries a week later.

Police checked images from security cameras from nearby homes and businesses, plus license plate readers, and pieced together information about the suspect's vehicle. They identified a black 1999 Honda Accord with a license plate of FNV-9986 and released that information to the public. Police said their investigation resulted in the identification of two suspects.

Last week, Haltom City police officers arrested 21-year-old Jasue Moreno. On Tuesday, officers and members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested 21-year-old Juan Perez in Fort Worth. Both men are charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Moreno is also charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
