A 2-year-old is dead after an accidental shooting in Arlington early Tuesday, police say.
The shooting happened at a home on Pocassett Drive, near Kingswood Boulevard and State Highway 360 around 12:30 a.m. Friday, Arlington police said.
Police said investigators believe the 2-year-old found the loaded gun in a teenage sibling's bedroom and accidentally shot himself.
As of early Tuesday afternoon, no charges had been filed and the investigation was ongoing.
Tuesday's shooting happened a week after a Fort Worth toddler accidentally shot herself after finding a loaded gun. She's being treated at a Fort Worth hospital.
There's no update on her condition and no arrests have been made in the case.
