
A two-year-old child was shot Sunday night in Dallas. Police were called to a gas station on St. Francis Avenue, a couple blocks north of I-30 in East Dallas, about 9:30 pm.
Police say two groups of people had exchanged gunfire. The child was caught in the exchange.
Dallas Fire Rescue took the two year old to the hospital, but the child's condition has not been released.
At the scene of the shooting, gunfire had broken out car windows. Dallas Police detectives and the department's Gang Unit mapped out evidence and shell casings in the parking lot overnight. Monday morning, Dallas Police had not confirmed any arrests or a motive.
