One Governor is saying choices for the 2026 World Cup final game are down to just two locations, New York or Arlington.

The comments came from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy who said it will be Dallas or their bid with New York City to host the World Cup championship game.

The FIFA delegation was in New Jersey over the weekend doing a site evaluation of MetLife Stadium.

FC Dallas owner Dan Hunt, who chairs the Dallas bid committee says they made a great pitch.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott was on hand, along with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, when the FIFA delegation visited AT&T stadium during the recent Cowboys vs. NY Jets game.

Hunt believes a decision will be made before the year ends.
