A group of 7-Eleven franchisees is asking the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the Irving-based company and complaining that franchise agreements work to the detriment of the franchise owners.
Other companies are also mentioned in the petitions like Dallas-based Dickey's Barbecue, Subway, the UPS Stores and Supercuts.
In a statement, 7-Eleven says it "remains committed to supporting franchisees" and will continue to "work with the FTC on any requests."
