A man's in the hospital following an apparent road rage shooting in Tarrant County Sunday evening. Just after 8 p.m. shots were fired at the intersection of Rendon Road and FM 1187.
The victim was taken to the hospital but there's been no report on his condition. Tarrant County investigators were able to talk to the shooter at the scene to get his side of the story. No arrests have been reported.
Two people are recovering from gunshot wounds in Oak Cliff. Early Sunday morning, a man and a woman were found wounded at an address on Montreal Avenue near Clarendon and Hampton. They were rushed to a local hospital and Dallas police say their wounds were not life-threatening. The shooter was long gone when police arrived so, for now, they don't know why the victims were shot nor who did it.
A man is in critical condition after being shot in northeast Dallas over the weekend. Early Sunday, he was found badly wounded at an apartment complex on Ridgecraft Road near Park Lane and Abrams Road. Police don't know why he was shot and no arrests have been announced.
A man was found shot to death in far southwest Dallas and police are still looking for the killer who left him to die late Saturday on South Polk Street near I-20. Paramedics tried to save him but Dallas police say he died at the hospital. Detectives are still investigating.
An Easter Sunday morning brawl turned deadly in northwest Dallas where police found three people shot outside a nightclub on Denton Drive near Lombardy Lane adjacent to DART's northwest train yard.
The first 9-1-1 calls said two groups were fighting when someone pulled a gun and started shooting. Everyone scattered except for the three victims who went down from gunshot wounds. One victim was already dead when paramedics arrived but the other two were alive and were taken to the hospital where police say they were in critical condition. The killer is still loose.
A man is dead after being shot with his own gun, and the man who did it is still avoiding Dallas police.
Early Saturday, police learned the two men were fighting at an apartment complex on Leigh Ann Drive near I-35 and Wheatland in far southern Dallas. From what officers learned, one man pulled a pistol but the other man wrestled it away from and shot the victim with it. The wounded man died at the hospital. The shooter got away. Police are not saying if he kept the pistol.
A Fort Worth teenager has been identified as the girl who was shot and killed Friday after she and her older sister found a pistol in a relative's home.
Reports say the sisters were at the family member's home and found a pistol in a closet. While they were handling it, one of them pulled the trigger and the gunshot struck 14-year-old Nateavia Lewis who died Friday night at JPS hospital. Fort Worth police have not said why the firearm was left unsecured nor have they said if anyone will be charged.
