Maxwell's captivating journey from a timid arrival to a confident and loving pup is heartwarming. He's shown remarkable resilience and trust in people, making him an exceptional candidate for a forever home.

This pup is good with kids and other dogs, but it is always best to bring two- and four-legged siblings in for a meet and greet prior to adoption.

This sweet boy thrives on attention and will make sure to capture your heart with his affectionate nature. Maxwell is the kind of dog who loves to be by your side, whether it's watching TV on the couch, going for a walk, or just enjoying quality time together. His love for human companionship is boundless.

Meet Biscuit, an eight-year-old, mixed-breed female weighing in at 50 pounds. She’s ready for a loving, forever home with someone who will give her all the cuddles and treats.

She might be a bit older, but she loves long walks and making friends with other dogs. Biscuit is a loving and affectionate fur-ever friend. Her smooth coat is mostly white, but she has the cutest brown, floppy ears and deep, dark eyes.

Biscuit currently is being treated for heartworms, so she will need a calm home to relax in because of exercise restrictions while undergoing treatment, which is provided by the SPCA of Texas. Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Biscuit has been spayed, microchipped and is current on all her necessary vaccines.

She is waiting for you at the SPCA of Texas Russell E. Dealey Animal Rescue Center, so you’ll need an appointment to meet her. To do that, find her profile at SPCA.org/dogs and click on the “Make an Appointment” button. Biscuit’s team will take it from there. To learn more about how you can give a gift for the animals, visit spca.org and click on “donate."

Meet Heather!

Meet Heather, an adorable white Siamese mixed-breed, one-year-old cat with splotches of tan and black fur. Weighing in at seven pounds, her ice-blue eyes will melt your heart.

She’s a low-energy feline, preferring the cozy comforts of a scratch post and a collection of intriguing toys. Heather may not be the most active kitty, but she promises to bring endless amusement with her playful antics as she bats at feathered toys and lazily explores her scratch post kingdom.

Heather’s foster mom reports that Heather is gentle, sweet and well-behaved. She does well in the apartment alone, and when she returns home Heather meets her at the door for pets and cuddles.

While Heather loves gentle pets and cuddles, being picked up or squeezed tightly makes her uncomfortable. She would do best with children old enough to respect this boundary.

Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Heather has been spayed, microchipped and is current on all her necessary vaccines.

Because Heather is in a foster home, an appointment is necessary to meet her. To make an appointment, find her profile at SPCA.org/cats and click on the “Make an Appointment” button. Heather’s team will take it from there.
