All Elite Wrestling has announced plans for a pay-per-view event called, "All in Texas" at Globe Life Field in Arlington in July 2025. AEW has already been hosting weekly events at Esports Stadium and held "All in London" earlier this year at Wembley Stadium.
"Absolutely there's great magic here in Arlington, and Texas wrestling is really a magic thing," says Chief Executive Tony Khan.
Khan says ratings for "Collision" at Esports Stadium show AEW is developing an international reputation. In turn, he says that is drawing more attention to Arlington. He says AEW airs in 150 countries.
"This is a perfect place to do it. Wrestling fans can tell you about one match they saw on television 25, 30 years ago. They can tell you how it unfolded, what the finish was," he says. "I've never met more detail-oriented people with better memories than pro-wrestling fans, and I can tell you this is a memory that will live in the minds of wrestling fans all over the world."
"Everybody, every night we put our hearts and souls out there in the ring," says wrestler Darby Allin. "I think anybody who comes here knows we don't just say it's going to be a good show. We're going to put everything on the line."
Allin says wrestlers draw from energy coming from an enthusiastic crowd, and a bigger venue like Globe Life Field will push them further.
"I go crazy when there's ten people, let alone 80,000," he says. "I've done some crazy stuff in AEW. The bigger the crowd, the gnarlier it's going to get. It might be the end of me."
Mayor Jim Ross says the city and Texas Rangers worked with AEW to set up the event. Ross says Arlington has worked to give people more reasons to visit.
"You never get bored," he says. "It's always one thing after another, and there's something for everybody."
Globe Life Field hosted the All-Star Game this summer, the World Series last year and in 2020. The Dallas Cowboys play at AT&T Stadium, and Taylor Swift played three shows there last year, and the PBR World Finals moved to the stadium this year.
"Treating people right is critical for this type of economic growth," Ross says. "In Arlington, I think we do that better than most."
